About Us

The inaugural Business Hall of Fame was held in 1993 to recognise the contribution made to business by successful leaders and entrepreneurs. The Business Hall of Fame has become an institution of unmatched significance to the business community of Nova Scotia.

 

2023 marks our 30th year honouring individuals who inspire our business community, and future business leaders. Our Laureates exemplify growth, courage, success and leadership in Nova Scotia, and beyond.

 

Candidates are nominated by community members and must demonstrate they have fulfilled the following criteria:

  • Be recognized by their profession or business as having made an outstanding contribution to the success of a business or profession.
  • Have demonstrated in their business career entrepreneurial spirit with a record of outstanding entrepreneurial achievements.
  • Have demonstrated effective leadership and be considered a role model for future entrepreneurs, business leaders as well as others in business.

Junior Achievement (JA) of Nova Scotia is a registered charity with a mission to inspire and prepare youth to succeed in a global economy with educational programs focused on financial literacy, workplace readiness and entrepreneurship.
